SAE 100 R17 Small-Size High-Pressure Steel Wire Braid Hose (1-Ply or 2-Ply)
1. Product Overview
A small-size high-pressure hydraulic hose complying with SAE 100 R17 standard, available in 1-ply or 2-ply steel wire braid reinforcement. It features reliable oil resistance, wear resistance and weather adaptability, providing stable fluid transmission for industrial and agricultural medium-pressure hydraulic systems.
2. Construction Details
- Inner Tube: Oil-resistant synthetic rubber (ensures excellent compatibility with hydraulic fluids and structural stability under pressure)
- Reinforcement Layer: 1-ply high-strength steel wire braid for 1/4" ~ 1/2" sizes; 2-ply high-strength steel wire braid for sizes from 5/8" and above (enhances pressure-bearing capacity and structural integrity)
- Outer Tube: Wear-resistant & weather-resistant synthetic rubber (prolongs service life in harsh working environments and improves environmental adaptability)
3. Technical Parameters
- Standard Compliance: SAE 100 R17
- Operating Pressure: Medium pressure
- Temperature Range: -40℃ to +121℃
- Compatible Fluids: Hydraulic oil, mineral oil (and other oil-based hydraulic fluids)
- Reinforcement Specification: 1-ply (1/4" ~ 1/2"); 2-ply (≥5/8")
- Minimum Bending Radius: [Optional: Fill in specific value by size if available]
- Length: [Optional: Customizable or standard lengths (e.g., 10m/20m per roll)]
4. Application Scope
Suitable for industrial and agricultural medium-pressure hydraulic systems. Ideal for small-size installation spaces requiring high-pressure resistance, such as hydraulic components of industrial machinery, agricultural equipment, and compact hydraulic transmission systems.
5. Usage Notes
- Select the appropriate ply type (1-ply/2-ply) based on the hose size and working pressure requirements.
- Avoid exceeding the specified temperature and pressure limits to prevent performance degradation.
- Prevent the outer tube from being scratched by sharp objects or corroded by chemicals during installation and use.
- Use SAE standard-matched joints and follow professional crimping procedures to ensure sealing and prevent leakage.
- Store in a dry, well-ventilated place, away from direct sunlight, high temperatures and humid environments.
