SMS Union Sanitary Union Fitting
Brief Introduction
SMS Union fittings are applicable to industrial fields such as food, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals.
Operation
Before connection, place the SMS-specific gasket into the U-shaped sealing groove of the SMS male threaded fitting, pre-thread the SMS round nut onto the SMS flat head, then screw the SMS round nut onto the SMS male threaded fitting. The gasket between the SMS flat head and the male thread is compressed to achieve connection and sealing.

- Inner wall roughness Ra < 0.6μm; DU fittings with inner wall roughness Ra < 0.4μm are available upon request.
- Manufactured from forged components.
- Wear-resistant tail core ensures longer service life of the hose assembly.

Operating Temperature
-40℃/-40℉ to +150℃/302℉ (depending on the sealing material).

Assembly Methods with Flexible/Rigid Pipes
- Use SMS Union welded parts for welding with stainless steel pipes.
- Connect hoses with FR sleeves or SFC safety clamps.
- Connect to equipment using other thread adapters.
